Operations Web Developer

This success has created the need for an experienced Web Developer with a solid understanding of Internet technologies, protocols and practices to join the Product Development team. Reporting to the Technical Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of software utilities and products.

Core Activities:

Working within a team to design and develop solutions across the product and associated utilities
Performing maintenance activities (bug fixes and feature updates) on the product
Migrating legacy solutions to an improved software base

Essential Skills:

Object Oriented PHP programming experience
HTTP, HTML, DHTML and Ajax experience
SQL (postgres) database experience
Team player

Desirable Skills:

Knowledge of Perl and UNIX shell scripting
Administering Web and Database Servers
Technical Documentation experience
Web-based research marketing

You will be working within a team of developers and thus, must enjoy and be capable of being a team player. However, you will also be called upon to work independently and therefore, must be self-motivated and able to effectively prioritize your own workload.
