Quality Assurance Engineer

This success has created the need to expand the Quality Assurance team with an engineer with a solid understanding of software testing and Internet technologies. In essence, you will be responsible for the quality of all outgoing software and public material.

Core Activities:

Run a suite of tests over every change to the product completed by the development team
Issue and manage defect reports using the bug tracking system
Assist in the deployment and documentation of changes on a weekly basis
Write automated testing scripts
Monitor daily, weekly and monthly executed processes
Maintain Quality Assurance documentation
Sanity test new data

Essential Skills:

Previous exposure and experience with QA methodology and principles
Knowledge of HTTP and HTML
Ability to analyze and modify code (PHP/Javascript)
Excellent communication skills
Ability to motivate and manage yourself to achieve goals

Desirable Skills:

Technical documentation experience
Usability testing experience
Experience working with statistical data

You will be working within a team of IT professionals and thus, must enjoy and be capable of being a team player. However, you will also be called upon to work independently and therefore, must be self-motivated and able to effectively prioritize your own workload.
